    • Hundreds braved the near 90-degree high temperatures Oct. 5 to take in the 6th Annual Wings and Wheels Georgetown Fall Festival at the Sussex County Airport. Karen Duffield, executive director of the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, said preliminary attendance counts indicate the festival exceeded last year’s total of about 7,500 visitors. The festival’s featured guest was Lt. Col. Richard “Dick” Cole, a co-pilot for Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle on April 18, 1942 when the 80-member crew carried out America’s initial retaliatory air raid on the Japanese mainland following the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.
