    Rosemary Molyneux, age 84, of Georgetown, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2012, at her residence with her family by her  side.  She was born February 28,  1927 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Beauregard) Mattson.

    Rosemary Molyneux, age 84, of Georgetown, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2012, at her residence with her family by her  side.  She was born February 28,  1927 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Beauregard) Mattson. 
    Mrs.  Molyneux took up residency in Georgetown, DE in 1971.  Mrs. Molyneux worked for Tunnel and  Raysor in Georgetown for over 30 years serving in various capacities through the years; she retired as a legal assistant.  She was a remarkable woman whose interests were wide and varied; she  loved the outdoors, gardening, the beach, golf, canoeing, and camping.  She was an accomplished seamstress, had a green thumb, made great arts and crafts, enjoyed woodworking, and was the life  of any party, a great listener and a confidante.  She enjoyed travelling, going to the Cheer Center at DelTech, and eating her son-in-law Rick’s cooking.  She was a long time member of the Wesley  United Methodist Church in Georgetown and volunteered with Meals-on-Wheels,  Delaware Hospice and the Blood Bank of Delmarva.  Mrs. Molyneux was above all else, a great role model, Matriarch, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Molyneux (1982), her son Daniel K. Molyneux (2010), two brothers, and three sisters. 
    She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie Molyneux and Rick Hoenen of Lewes with whom she  lived; her son, Michael T. Molyneux of Georgetown, his former wife, Brenda Cook,  grandson Jason Molyneux and his wife Nicole, and great-grandchildren, Taylor and  Kaylee Molyneux;  Sanghak Henderson, former wife of the late Daniel Molyneux, grandson Erin Molyneux and his wife Trisha, and great-granddaughter Nina Soleil Molyneux.  She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, Leah Hoenen, Megan Rae Molyneux and Zachary Allen Molyneux;  a brother Matt Mattson of Chicago, IL; and a sister Margie Ranson of Tampa,  FL.
    A  Celebration of Life for Rosemary Molyneux will be held on Saturday, February 18,  2012 at 2 p.m., at Wesley United Methodist Church, 102 East Laurel Street, Georgetown, DE, followed by a reception in Jones Hall at the church. 
    Interment will be private. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
    In  lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wesley U.M. Church at the address above or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
