The third and final day of the Firefly Festival is off to a muggy start and temperatures are expected to climb into the 80's today. Rain is also expected this evening, threatening the final performances of the event as almost an inch of percipitation could occur.
The day began with the Lower Case Blues on The Porch at 11:25 a.m. this morning followed by Penguin Prison and J Roddy Walston and the Business elsewhere on the Firefly campus.
The Head and the Heart opened up the main Firefly stage, thanking the crowd and saying that after missed flights and lost luggage, they were happy to be at the event.
