Charges are pending in a crash between a Mid-Sussex ambulance and a car that happened on Saturday at Five Points in Lewes.
Delaware State Police say the ambulance, driven by Christian Jackson-Puglisi, had its lights and sirens on as it crossed the intersection to Beebe Hospital. Investigators say the driver of a car, Evan Hutton, 20, of Millsboro, failed to see the ambulance and hit the front passenger side.
Jackson-Puglisi, along with two other paramedics, was taken to Beebe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 43-year-old patient in the original ambulance was also taken to Beebe.
Hutton was not properly restrained and had to be removed from his car. He was taken to Beebe Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are pending.
