A 65-year-old Seaford man died Friday after his motorcycle struck a pick-up truck near Bridgeville.
Ronald G. Kinnamon was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle on northbound Conrail Road at about 1 p.m. when he slammed into the passenger side door of a 1998 Dodge pick-up truck heading east on Hearns Pond Road.
Police said the driver of the pick-up, 45-year-old Seaford resident Michael W. Stein, did stop at a stop sign on eastbound Hearns Point Road, but then pulled out into the path of Kinnamon’s motorcycle.
Kinnamon, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the roadway.
He was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Stein also was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
Police said an investigation into the crash is ongoing and charges are pending.
