Paddle Pedal Festival forces road, lane closures on Oct. 13

The Delaware Department of Transportation warns motorists to expect road and lane closures Oct. 13 for the Milford Paddle Pedal Festival.

The following roadways will have lane restrictions: Lighthouse Road, Route 36/Cedar Beach Road, and Marshall Street.

The festival will begin at 7 p.m. and will celebrate the final phase of the Mispillion River Walk Project, the Chaney/Wilmont Greenway. The festival highlights include a canoe/kayak float-in on the Mispillion River, a 20K bike ride and a 10K run/walk to the Cedar Creek boat ramp located on Lighthouse Road near Slaughter Beach.
