  • The state police are asking the public to help them identify two men who burglarized a home in the Seaford area on Oct. 25.
Police on Wednesday released surveillance photos taken of the men inside the home in the 20000 block of Concord Pike Road, which is located between Seaford and Georgetown.
Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said the men broke into the home through a side door about 3:30 p.m. and made off with a laptop and power tools before leaving the area in a white, four-door car.
The 69-year-old resident of the home was not present at the time of the break in, Fournier said.
Both suspects are described as white, between the ages of 20 and 25 and about 5’10” to 6’.
One of the men, who is estimated to weigh between 160 and 170 pounds, was last seen wearing a maroon John Deere T-shirt, blue jeans and a knit cap.
The other man, who is estimated to weigh between 190 and 210 pounds, was last seen wearing a striped, black and white T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Anyone with knowledge of burglars’ identities or their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Delaware State Police at (302) 856-5850, ext. 206.
Anonymous tips also can be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333 or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) and starting you message with the keyword “DSP.”
