A man and a woman were robbed at gunpoint inside their Georgetown-area home Saturday evening, according to police.
Two armed robbers entered the home in the 19000 block of Savannah Road, north of Georgetown, about 7:25 p.m., according to Delaware State Police spokesman.
One of the gunmen forced the 65-year-old female victim into a bedroom, where he stole jewelry and cash. The other gunman held the 20-year-old male victim at gunpoint while he stole other items, police said.
The robbers then forced both victims into the woman’s vehicle, where they stole a purse and cash before fleeing the area.
Neither victim was injured during the robbery, police said.
Both armed robbers were described as black men, about 5’9” and between 170 and 180 pounds. One of the men was about 25 years old, while the other is believed to be between 27 and 36.
Both men were last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts and carrying handguns.
