Police said Manuel Vasquez repeatedly stabbed the 27-year-old male victim outside of the Five Points Liquor Store at 511 N. Central Ave. sometime before 4 p.m.
The victim was initially taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hosptial in Seaford before being transferred to Christiana Hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries. Information about the status of the victim was not available Friday.

A warrant has been issued charging him with attempted first-degree murder, assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
