A 31-year-old Millsboro man died Tuesday after being ejected from his SUV in a single-vehicle crash near Selbyville.
Jose Luis Rojas Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Lynch Road, just south of Bald Branch Road, west of Selbyville, according to state police.
The crash occurred as Rojas was driving south on Lynch Road and lost control of his 2000 Ford Excursion while attempting to negotiate a moderate curve about 8:30 p.m., police said.
The Ford briefly left the roadway before spinning clockwise and leaving the roadway a second time, when it rolled over and ejected Rojas, who was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop on its roof.
Lynch Road, south of Bald Branch Road, was closed for about three hours while police investigated the crash and cleared the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
