Georgetown woman arrested on drug charges

A 41-year-old Georgetown woman is facing drug charges after reportedly being found with heroin and prescription medication.

Patricia Ortwein was arrested Tuesday after officers from the Georgetown Police Department executed a warrant on a room at the Classic Motel at 313 N. Dupont Highway, police announced late Friday.

During a search of the room, officers reportedly found 20 bags of heroin, 28 Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia.

Ortwein is charged with two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She is being held at an unidentified detention facility in lieu of a $20,500 cash bond, police said.
