A 31-year-old Dagsboro-area man is facing numerous drug-related charges after being arrested outside his home Monday.
Franklin Blunt was picked up at the end of his driveway in the 30000 block of Coffin Lane about 3:30 p.m., following a months-long investigation by the Delaware State Police Sussex County Governor’s Task Force into alleged drug dealing, police said.
At the time of his arrest, Blunt reportedly was in possession of 0.4 grams of heroin, 10 morphine pills, five pills of the prescription opiate oxycodone, and three pills of alprazolam, the generic name of the prescription drug Xanax, along with drug paraphernalia, police said.
Blunt is charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $44,000 secured bond.
