A 33-year-old Bridgeville woman was arrested in Harrington on Tuesday after police found marijuana in the same vehicle in which she was driving a pair of young children.
Officers stopped Johanne M. Foote’s vehicle on South Dupont Highway near Gordon Street for a traffic violation, when they smelled marijuana, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Officers search the vehicle, in which a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old were passengers, and discovered 3.1 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Brode said.
Foote is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
She later was released, pending a future court appearance, Brode said.
