Nanticoke Health Services recently named Dr. Khalil F. Gorgui as the new medical director of its Nanticoke Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.
Gorgui has been a senior member of the hospital’s medical staff since 1995 with broad experience in wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and internal medicine.
Gorgui completed his residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, N.J., an affiliate with Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is credentialed in wound care management and hyperbaric medicine through Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions in Naperville, Ill.
The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center in Seaford provides specialty-trained teams to address chronic wounds through holistic examinations and individualized plans of care. Nanticoke Health Services was the first facility in Delaware to provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy and remains the only site in Sussex County to offer the treatment.
