A 24-year-old Seaford man is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an April 20 traffic stop.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, authorities were notified by a concerned driver around 1:10 a.m. that the driver of a blue vehicle on Savannah Road in Georgetown appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said a vehicle matching the description was found stuck in a ditch. Police said the driver, Miguel Silvestre, had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath. Police said Silvestre was charged with DUI and other traffic violations and was released with a future court date.
