The Delmarva Christian High School Chapter of the National Honor Society celebrated the addition of 17 new student members during the annual Induction Ceremony held on May 2, in the Royal Café.
The inductees were selected for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
National Honor Society inductees included Angela Agapito, Freddie Barnard, Elisha Beckett, Cameron Burns, Joshua Dekker, Kaleb Dekker, Matt Dykstra, Cassie Gordon, Stephen Magee, Hava Marneweck, Andrew Mitchell, Julie Parsons, Sierra Smith, Haley Timko, Shelby Timko, Mariah Troyer, and Jon Wyatt
The National Honor Society ranks as one of the oldest and most prestigious national organizations for high school students. Chapters exist in more than 60 percent of the nation’s high schools and, since 1921, millions of students have been selected for membership. Millions of dollars in scholarships have been awarded to senior members since 1945 by the sponsoring organization, the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
