A 34-year-old Silver Spring, Md. woman was arrested May 13 after she allegedly operated her vehicle under the influence of alcohol during a domestic dispute on The Circle in Georgetown.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, officers were summoned to The Circle around 8 p.m. for a possible domestic dispute in progress involving a subject operating a Suzuki passenger vehicle and a male walking in the area of the water fountain. Police said Kalea Hill was allegedly operating the vehicle and was observed driving around The Circle tapping her breaks in an attempt to get the male subject’s attention. Police said Hill and the male were stopped to check their welfare. Police said both parties were involved in a verbal argument and no physical signs of injuries were noted. Police said they did discover that Hill was operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Police said Hill was charged with DUI, was issued a summons, and was released with a future court date.
