A 26-year-old Georgetown man was arrested on May 26 after he allegedly assaulted two people at an East Pine Street residence.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, officers were summoned to the residence around 5 a.m. for a disorderly subject complaint. Police said Jose Moreno was allegedly involved in a domestic assault with two subjects at the residence. Police said Moreno allegedly pulled the hair of a 25-year-old woman who was sitting in a vehicle with him in front of the residence. Police said when the woman tried to get out of the vehicle, Moreno allegedly held her in the vehicle by her hair, not allowing her to get out. Police said a 24-year-old man reportedly approached Moreno about the abuse, and Moreno allegedly struck him in the chest several times. Police said all of this took place in front of two children that were in the vehicle.
