  • An 18-year-old Odenton, Md. man was arrested on June 1 following a traffic stop that revealed him to be in possession of suspected marijuana.
    According to the Georgetown Police Department, Adam Kirkendall was stopped at about midnight on Seashore Highway for a traffic violation. Police said when they begin speaking to Kirkendall, they detected the odor of marijuana. When police informed Kirkendall that they smelled marijuana, he reportedly retrieved a small amount of a green, leafy substance from the console of the vehicle. Police said the substance field tested positive for marijuana.
    Police said Kirkendall was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding. He was released on a criminal summons with a future court date.
