A Delaware resident who purchased one of three winning tickets in the Memorial Day Weekend Powerball jackpot drawing has come forward to claim their prize.
The Delaware Lottery on June 24 awarded the resident with a lump sum total of $10,377,750.10 after they chose the cash option to claim one-third of the $50 million estimated annuity Powerball jackpot prize from the May 25 drawing.
The resident’s ticket was purchased at the Super G grocery store in Rehoboth Beach. The winning numbers drawn were 2, 6, 19, 21 and 27 with a Powerball of 25. The additional two winning tickets were sold in Florida and Louisiana and the winners have not yet come forward.
The resident has chosen to remain anonymous. Delaware is currently one of six states that allow winners to remain anonymous.
