The Milton Farmers Market, open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Friday at 210 Union St., Milton, will feature several new merchants to the market this week.
Hopkins Farm Creamery will bring fresh ice cream made daily at the dairy farm in Lewes. There will be a special flavor of the moment at the market on June 28. Products from Milton's Lavender Fields Farm will also be available. Natural bug-away lotion, body scrubs and 15 different kinds of lavender based soaps and more will be on hand.
Twisted Steel Cattle Company will offer local grown beef with no daily antibiotics or growth hormones. Individual cuts are available at the market and patrons can arrange for whole, half or quarter orders at their convenience. The Milton Garden Club will continue to sell its perennials, herbs and tomato plants. They are also offering tour tickets at their station, now at the discounted price of $15 for the July 13 tour.
Kemp's Liquors will feature Boordy Vineyards' Jazzberry which incorporates the juices of strawberries, raspberries and more.
The MFM will also host live music and Electric Velvet will be the featured performer on June 28.
