  • A 43-year-old New Castle man was cited on June 27 following a tractor trailer crash that caused U.S. Route 113 north of Millsboro to be shut down.
    According to the Delaware State Police, the incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. as Matthew W. Blosser was operating a 2003 Kenworth Tractor Trailer southbound on U.S. Route 113 approaching Bark Pond Road. Police said as the truck began to turn eastbound on Bark Pond Road, the trailer portion began to roll over and came to a stop in the northbound lanes of U.S. Route 113.
    Blosser, who was properly restrained, was not injured in the crash. He was cited for careless driving and no proof of insurance.
    U.S. Route 113 at Bark Pond Road was closed for about an hour and a half as the crash was investigated and cleared.
