  • Man assaulted during Frankford home invasion

  • The Delaware State Police is investigating a home invasion that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on June 27 on DuPont Boulevard in Frankford.

  • The Delaware State Police is investigating a home invasion that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on June 27 on DuPont Boulevard in Frankford.
    According to police, a 26-year-old male victim was sleeping in his bedroom when he heard some noise coming from the kitchen. Police said as the victim entered the kitchen, he observed a black male standing next to a table where an undisclosed amount of cash was lying. The victim said the suspect took the money from the table. Police said the victim then tried to subdue the suspect, but he was punched in the face before the suspect fled the residence in an unknown direction. Police said the victim did not require any medical attention.
    The suspect is described as a black male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, and between 140 and 160 pounds with an average build and short black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark pants and black shoes.
