A 57-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, both from Baltimore, Md., were arrested July 5 at the Georgetown Exxon after police found them to be in possession of illegal drugs.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, officers were summoned to the gas station for a possible domestic dispute occurring in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Charles Dietz and Angela Yellalonis told officers they were having a verbal argument. While questioning the couple, police said they observed hypodermic needles and several red and white capsules in the couple’s vehicle. Police said the capsules contained a white, powdery substance that field tested positive for heroin. Police said they also located a glass vial that contained a yellowish liquid, which field tested positive for PCP. Police said a total of 39 heroin capsules weighing about one gram were located and the PCP had an approximate weight of 1.5 ounces.
Dietz and Yellalonis were charged with possession of heroin, possession of PCP, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of bond with a future court date.
