A 19-year-old Dover man, identified as Jamichael Peck, was taken into custody by the Milford Police Department on July 10 for two incidents of credit card theft that occurred July 5.
Police spokesman Det. Dwight Young said two incidents, which occurred at the Milford Walmart and a Wawa store, involved Peck and two additional suspects: A 19-year old Bridgeville man, identified as Sawndale Auguste, and a 20-year-old Dover man who is sought by the Milford Police Criminal Division, identified as Ronnier Elmore.
Investigation revealed that the three suspects were in possession of a stolen credit card, which they used multiple times to purchase merchandise at the Walmart and Wawa.
Peck was charged with identity theft, third-degree forgery, second-degree conspiracy, five counts of unlawful use of a credit card and receiving stolen property under $1,500. Peck was arraigned and released on a $12,000 unsecured bond.
Milford Police previously arrested and charged 19-year-old Auguste on July 6 in connection with the same incidents. He was arrested after officers responded to a theft complaint on July 5 near the unit block of McColley Street in Milford, discovering that the victim's credit card had been stolen and used at Milford-area stores.
Auguste was charged with identity theft, third-degree forgery, second-degree conspiracy, two counts of unlawful use of a credit card and receiving stolen property under $1,500. Auguste was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a secured bond.
Det. Young said the Milford Police Criminal Division is searching for 20-year-old Elmore in connection with the same incidents and detectives have issued a warrant for his arrest. Elmore is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches, weighs 135 to 155 pounds and allegedly frequents Camden, Dover and Milford areas.
Elmore is also sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a business in the 200 block of North Rehoboth Boulevard on June 23. Detectives previously issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with the June 23 armed robbery.
Police are asking anyone with information on Elmore's whereabouts to contact the Milford Police Department Criminal Division at (302) 422-8081.
