  • The Delmarva Christian High School celebrated 10 years with the opening of the school on Aug. 15.
Delmarva first opened its doors to 60 high school students. Scott Kemerling, principal at the time, said “This is a historical day for the lower Eastern Shore. Our students are stepping out in faith to embark on an exciting educational journey. They’ll be taught from a Christian worldview that will be well rounded and of the highest quality.”
There are more than 100 students currently enrolled under the leadership of principal Mike Vonhof.
“We take our mission seriously,” said principal Vonhof as he gathered students and staff for a time of praise and worship. “And, it is our privilege to partner with families as we embark on that mission which is to proclaim the Gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically, and physically to know and to do God’s will in their lives.”
