  • Whether you want to further your music career or hear great music, this weekend's Dewey Beach Music Conference has you covered.
    More than 70 bands and singer-songwriters, mostly from the Mid-Atlantic region, will perform tonight and tomorrow across six venues in Dewey: Bottle & Cork, Rusty Rudder, Gary's, Jimmy's, McShea's and Port.
    Starting with tonight, some of the acts you won't want to miss include The Head, Love Bettie and Lower Case Blues. As for Saturday, keep your eye out for Angela Sheik, Brixton Saint, The Honey Badgers, Sylvan Wolfe and Love Bettie (the band is playing both nights).
    For aspiring musicians looking to turn their passion into a full-time job, several mentoring and and panel discussions will also be held. The sessions will cover topics from recording music to ways to promote your tunes.
