  • Two men were treated for non-life threatening injuries following a Sept. 25 accident on John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro.
According to the Delaware State Police, the incident occurred around 7:40 a.m. as 32-year-old Dustin J. Burns of Millsboro was operating a 2009 Ford van westbound on John J. Williams Highway west of Legion Road when, for unknown reasons, he partially entered into the eastbound lanes and struck the driver’s side of a 2009 Peterbilt truck operated by 45-year-old Rodney G. Dotson of Cambridge, Md. Police said the van continued in a westerly direction before coming to a stop in front of the American Legion. Police said the truck was able to come to a controlled stop on the shoulder.
Burns, who was properly restrained, was transported to Beebe Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road. Dotson, properly restrained, was also transported to Beebe Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
