  • Boys Cross Country
    Sussex Central 47, Smyrna 16
    The Sussex Central boys cross country team were defeated by Smyrna 47-16 on Wednesday, September 25. Wilian Ortiz finished in fifth for the Golden Knights posting a time of 18:37.
     
    Sussex Central 35, Lake Forest 20
    Sussex Central 29, Seaford 26
     
    The Sussex Central boys cross country squad fell to Lake Forest and Seaford in a Tri-Meet on Monday, September 30.  Wilian Ortiz had another big day, taking first place with a time of 19:43, while Josue Mendez finished tenth with a time of 22:00. The Golden Knights are back in action on Wednesday at the Tidewater Classic in Maryland.
     
    Girls Cross Country
    Sussex Central 50, Smyrna 15
    The Sussex Central girls cross country squad fell to Smyrna 50-15 on Wednesday, September 25.
    Sussex Central 50, Lake Forest 15
    The Sussex Central girls cross country team dropped a meet to Lake Forest on Monday, September 30. Destiny Martinez finished third for the Golden Knights posting a time of 25:34. Central is back on the track Wednesday in the Tidewater Classic in Maryland.  
     
    Boys Soccer
    Sussex Central 1, Milford 3
    The Sussex Central Golden Knights’ boys soccer squad fell to Milford 3-1 on Tuesday, September 24. Brandon Sorto Lozano scored the lone Central goal in the loss.
    Sussex Central 8, Lake Forest 2
    The Sussex Central boys soccer team defeated Lake Forest 8-2 on Thursday, September 26. Both Jimmy Roblero-Morales and Marlon Anleu-Vicente tallied two-goal games for the Golden Knights in the victory. Central is back on the pitch Thursday when they travel to Polytech to take on the Panthers.
    Sussex Tech 0, Salesianum 2
    The Sussex Tech boys soccer squad fell to Salesianum 1-0 on Tuesday, September 24. Jaime Orellana-Santos made 10 saves for Tech allowing only one goal late in the game.
    Sussex Tech 2, Milford 1
    The Ravens boys soccer team defeated Milford 2-1 on Thursday, September 26. Conor Matthews and Luis Vasquez found the back of the net for Tech in the victory.
    Sussex Tech 1, Concord 0
    The Sussex Tech boys soccer team won their second game in a row, beating Concord 1-0 on Saturday, September 28. Conor Matthews scored the lone Tech goal, assisted by Marlon Trejo at seven minutes in the first half.
     
    Girls Volleyball
    Sussex Tech 3, Milford 0
    The Sussex Tech Ravens’ volleyball squad defeated Milford 3-0 on Tuesday, September 24. The Ravens defeated the Bucs in straight sets, winning 25-23, 25-13, and 25-22. Alayna Villa led the way for the Ravens posting three kills and eight assists in the victory.

    The Ravens’ volleyball team beat the Lake Forest Spartans 3-1 on Thursday, September 26. After dropping the first set 19-25, the Ravens responded by winning three straight 25-10, 25-20, and 25-14. Alayna Villa had another standout game posting two kills, three aces, one block, and 21 assists. Logan Troyer added 15 kills, one ace and five digs in the win.  Tech is back on the court Thursday when they host Seaford.
