Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 in Frankford.
According to the Delaware State Police, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. as two masked suspects entered an Upland Court residence where they confronted a 35-year-old male victim in the bathroom. Police said the suspects began assaulting the victim and at one point held an unknown type of gun to his head before fleeing with the victim’s wallet, keys and cell phone. Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have determined through their preliminary investigation that this was not a random act, and the victim may have been targeted in the home invasion.
The suspects are described as two masked males. There is no further physical or clothing description available.
