  • The DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife are encouraging hunters to try out the new hunter and trapper registration system.
The new system is now available online at dnrec.delaware.gov/delhunt. The new system allows deer hunters to use their smartphones to easily register their deer while in the field or from their vehicle. In addition to deer registration, hunters can use this site for services such as:
    - Registering for a Harvest Information Program (HIP) number, a legal requirement for waterfowl hunters
    - Obtaining a license exempt number (LEN) for hunters who are not required to purchase a Delaware Hunting License
    - Signing up for a spring 2014 Snow Goose Conservation Order permit
We designed this new HTR system to give hunters and trappers 21st century access so they can have more time to pursue their hunting and trapping activities, said GIC Director Greg Hughes.
