  • A 28-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was robbed Nov. 3 after his car broke down on the shoulder of Gravel Hill Road near Sandy Hill Road in Milton.

  • A 28-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was robbed Nov. 3 after his car broke down on the shoulder of Gravel Hill Road near Sandy Hill Road in Milton.
    According to the Delaware State Police, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. after the victim stopped his vehicle to check on a mechanical issue. Police said as the victim was underneath the car, he saw a dark colored SUV pull up in front of his vehicle and a male wearing blue jeans and work boots exit the driver’s side. The victim told police he heard what he thought was the slide of a handgun being racked and the suspect demanded he empty his pockets. Police said the victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect fled northbound on Gravel Hill Road in the SUV. Police said the victim was not injured in the incident.
