  • Peter Van Buskirk, former dean of admission at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., will present “The Admission Game” at 6 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Indian River High School, 29772 Armory Road in Dagsboro, for college-bound students and their families.
Van Buskirk is the author of “Winning the College Admission Game” and will present strategies that ease the stress while helping families navigate the high-stakes college admission process. Using concepts such as the “Pyramid of Selectivity,” “Hotspots and Hooks,” and the “Hidden Agenda,” Van Buskirk transforms eager audiences into admission committees at a fictitious college where they determine the fates of four candidates.
Families with students in grades eight through 12 are welcome to attend the two-hour program free of charge. For more information about Van Buskirk and “The Admission Game,” visit www.bestcollegefit.com.
