  • Beebe Healthcare’s first baby of the new year, Noel Elizabeth Ford, was born at 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 in the Women’s Health Pavilion in Lewes.
The baby girl weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces. For parents Kevin and Renea Ford of Long Neck, Noel Ford is their fourth child.
Because Noel Ford was the first baby of the year, Women’s Health Pavilion staff members presented her and mom Renea Ford with a gift basket that included a collection of items purchased by the staff, as well as a $100 gift certificate from the Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary, the oldest fundraising organization supporting Beebe, is a supporter of the Mothers and Babies Services of Beebe, formed in 1936. The Women’s Pavilion was funded by the Auxiliary with a $500,000 gift as part of the Vision 2000 Campaign.
