  • An office building located at 13 The Circle in Georgetown has been sold to a buyer who wishes to remain unidentified, according to a local realtor.
Ann Bailey of NAI Emory Hill in Lewes represented the buyer, who is currently identified only as 13 The Circle LLC. Bailey said the company is a commercial real estate investor and developer based in Delaware. The seller was the Illinois-based Inland American CFG Portfolio LLC. Bailey said the closing took place Dec. 30. A selling price has not been released but will become public record within the next few days when the deed is recorded.
The building is a fully occupied 14,567-square-foot multi-tenanted office building that currently houses Citizens Bank, the Public Defenders’ Office of Delaware and the Sussex County office of Sen. Tom Carper. Bailey said these tenants have long-term leases and will remain in the building. She added that the deal included two rear parcels used for parking.
