The Delaware State Police has issued a Gold Alert for a 17-year-old Georgetown girl missing since Sunday night.
Police are searching for Cassidy Blevins, who was last seen around 9 p.m. Sunday in Aberdeen, NC. Blevins is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and 130 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray long-sleeve shirt and a blue North Face jacket. Police said Blevins may be operating a maroon 2005 Pontiac Sunfire with the Delaware registration 255686, and may be driving from North Carolina to Delaware.
Police said Blevins' condition is such that there is a genuine concern for her safety.
