  • A local eighth grader currently attending the Jefferson School in Georgetown, was chosen to be a part of the Delaware Junior All-State Chorus.
Delaney Cinnamon was among hundreds of students from throughout the state taking part in auditions for the chorus in February 2014. More than 500 seventh and eighth graders auditioned for 190 places in the chorus. Participating students attended two days of rehearsals and two in a half days for the concert Feb. 22 at Seaford High School.
In addition to being a Delaware Junior All-State Chorus member, Delaney is involved in local theater and performs with the Possum Point Players and the Second Street Players. She recently sang for volunteers being recognized at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital’s Volunteer Banquet and enjoys performing any chance she can get.
