Lt. Gov. Denn announces success in state weatherization program

Delaware has out-performed every other state in implementing an important stimulus-funded home weatherization program for low-income families in the state.

Lieutenant Governor Matthew Denn will make the official announcement during a teleconference March 4.

Denn said the accomplishment is something for Delawareans to be proud of and it means that the state is successfully implementing stimulus projects.

Also joining him are:   Secretary Rita Landgraf, Delaware Health and Social Services; Brian McGlinchey, Dir. of Government Affairs, Laborers Eastern Region; Stephanie Smith, VP for Academic Affairs and Susan Zawislak, Corporate and Community Programs Director; Delaware Tech; and Bernice Edwards, executive director of First State Community Action Agency.
