Long-time Sussex County employee, Dennis Cordrey filed Monday, July 12 to run against current Sussex County Council President Vance Phillips.
Cordrey said he will seek local support to beat Phillips at the polls this fall. Cordrey has already gained the support of Rep. John Atkins, D-Millsboro.
