Gallery 50's latest show "In Celebration of Women" will open with a reception this coming Saturday, April 10 from 2-6 p.m.
"The show will highlight the works of seven of the gallery's female artists, as well as works that were inspired by women. Lewes resident and Delaware By Hand Master artist Constance Costigan and Rehoboth Beach photographer Jim Mott will both have works in this exhibition," said gallery owner Jay Pastore.
"There will be a wide range of artistic genre and media represented. Works by New York City pop artist Olan Montgomery, New York City photographer Phillip Gutman, and oil paintings by Pat Whitehead and Rose Minetti are amongst those that will be displayed".
The opening is part of Mosaic's Second Saturday Art Walk, whose theme this month is Women in the Arts. It is in recognition of Women's FEST Weekend 2010, an event sponsored by Camp Rehoboth.
