The Milton Theatre, in partnership with The Jefferson School, will present a family concert at the Theatre at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 20.

The Folk Heroes, a talented quartet of musicians, have a passion and affinity to play Irish music right into the soul of the audience no matter what age. They have created a special interactive program and, as a special treat, will be accompanying some the Jefferson School children when they perform a few Irish songs.

This year the school is studying Ireland, so what better way to get in touch with a country that experience it’s musical heritage?

The Folk Heroes play a wide range of instruments, from the Irish pennywhistle and mandolin to a fast-playing fiddle and the bagpipes.

The March 20 event is a fundraiser for both The Historic Milton Theatre and The Jefferson School, one of the many community partnerships created by the Theatre. Adding support to the event, Irish Eyes is donating 10 percent of the food check back to The Jefferson School for guests eating at their Milton location before or after the concert.

The public is welcome to join in for this family event. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Milton Theatre at 302-684-3400 or order online at www.miltontheatre.org.
