The Friends of the Lewes Public Library are sponsoring a Delmarva on View Photography Contest.
The contest is open to photographers of all abilities and ages. Professional and non-professional photographers, film or digital. Children up to age 18 and adults will compete separately.
The library wants to to see Delmarva on view so images must have been photographed in the Delmarva geographic area.

• Student (12-18 years of age)
• Student (12 years of age or younger)
Contest Details
• Each entry must be submitted framed. The outer dimension (OD) of the frame (not image) should not be larger than 11"x14".
• Each entry should submit two copies of the entry form available here. One copy must be attached to entree
• The cost to enter the contest is $5.00 per participant with a maximum of three entries per photographer. Cash or check only. Checks made payable to the Friends of Lewes Library.
• Payment must be included with your submitted photos.
Submitted photographs will be judged by a panel of three eminent art professionals during the week of June 7. Awards will be made for first place and honorable mentions for second and third place in each of the six subject categories and in both age categories.
The Grand Prize winner will have the opportunity to take a digital photography workshop or Lewes Photo Walk with local freelance photographer Judy G. Rolfe. The Grand Prize winner will also receive a cash prize from the Friends of Lewes Library.
Sales are encouraged during the show with 60 percent going to the photographer and 40 percent going back to the Friends of Lewes Library. Checks from sales will go out no later than Sept. 30.
Entries will be accepted beginning May 8th at the library located at 111 Adams St., Lewes, DE 19958.
