Grammy award nominated country superstar Jason Aldean will be performing at the 2012 M&T Bank Grandstand at the Delaware State Fair on Wednesday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, and can be purchased by visiting www.DelawareStateFair.com.
“While many of us are busy getting ready for the holiday season, we are busy here at the Fairgrounds getting ready for next July. We are so excited to have Jason Aldean in 2012 and couldn’t wait to share this concert with our fans who might be looking for the perfect last minute gift. We are still working on an opening act for Jason so stay tuned for more details”, said Danny Aguilar, assistant general manager and director of marketing.
Tickets for the Jason Aldean show are $69 for track and stadium seating and $64 for grandstand and clubhouse seats.
New in 2012, the Delaware State Fair has developed a new orchestra pit section that brings the fan closer to the artist than ever before. The “pit” section is located just feet away from the stage and will be a general admission, standing room only (with no chairs) section. Due to the limited number of tickets available for this area, those interested can sign up for an email list for updates and opportunities to purchase tickets in advance. The “pit” is general admission standing room only (with no chairs) and tickets are priced at $94. All other tickets (track, stadium, grandstand and clubhouse) will be reserved seating with chairs. Concert attendance does require the purchase of a separate gate admission ticket.

There’s a lot about the singer that’s become familiar during his five years as a country hitmaker, after all, he has spent more weeks at No. One on the radio charts than any other country artist in the last 12 months.
