Possum Point Players to present 'A Celebration of Black History'

The Possum Point Players, directed by Rosa Barnes and Claudius Bowden, will recognize Black History Month and the contribution of African-Americans to the nation's culture with a presentation of "A Celebration of Black History" Feb. 10 to Feb. 12 at Possum Hall.

Performers will share narrations, dance music, historical information and trace the timeline of African roots to current culture.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years old, and can be purchased at the door. The Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 shows will be at 8 p.m. and the Feb. 12 will show will take place at 2 p.m.

The Players are supported in part through grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts.
