See 'Photos' at left for a gallery of art created by residents at Renaissance Healthcare, in Millsboro, during a recent class conducted by Delaware-based art therapy organization The Feather's Touch.

To encourage creativity and provide an atmosphere of calm, classical music played in the background and Feather's Touch Art Specialist Sherita Sparrow provided a slide show of Picasso and Monet paintings.

"The therapeutic value is the process, not always the product," said Renaissance activity director Louise Montgomery. "But in the case of these residents, their finished products were masterpieces."
