The Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen Organization, affiliate of the Miss America Outstanding Teen Organization, is currently seeking contestants.
The 2010 Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen Pageant will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover. The Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization and its state and local organizations are able to offer scholarship awards and savings bonds to many accomplished young women, empowering them to have a voice, to enhance their public speaking and interview skills, enabling them to express their talents, to be of service to others, and reach a new level of confidence.
A mandatory parent and contestant orientation and rehearsal will be held Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Duncan Center in Dover. The application package and entrance fee are due by Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the orientation, and may be obtained by emailing Kim Bailey at kimmlbailey@gmail.com, calling (302) 245-7420, or visiting the Web site.
To be eligible to compete in the 2010 Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen Pageant, girls must be 13 by Feb. 20, and not 18 on or before July 31.
Contestants are not required to compete in a local preliminary competition; however, there are upcoming official local teen pageants available if you would like to have the pageant experience, as well as the expert assistance of a local director.
