Gallery 50 will present its next show, "The Poodle Beach Coloring Book," by Milton artist Aurelio Grisanty, with an artist's  reception, on June 13, from 6-9 p.m.

"The show will feature a variety of mixed media works that celebrate the diversity of life here in Rehoboth Beach", states gallery owner Jay Pastore. " When he first approached me with this idea last year, I was immediately on board.  Grisanty has also produced a coloring book of some of the original works in the show, that will be available at the gallery."

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Grisanty first came to Rehoboth in 1985, and  was overwhelmed by the social liberties of the United States, particularly in the expression of one's sexuality. In 1997, he was granted US citizenship as an Exceptional Individual of International Renown. He is the artist of the classic posters of various American beach towns, including Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Dewey Beach, Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach.

The show runs through July 8. and a  preview of the show can be seen on the gallery's Web site at www.50contemporaryart.com.

The gallery is located at 50 Wilmington Ave., in Rehoboth Beach. For more information, call the gallery at 302-227-2050.
