Legionnaires celebrate Black History Month

The Oak Orchard Riverdale American Legion Post No. 28 will host a Black History Month program at 6 p.m. Feb. 15.

The theme will be “Black Women in History and Culture.”

Activities will include skits by the Millsboro Boys and Girls Club, performances by guest singers and a “Living History” quiz. Light refreshments will be served.

The American Legion is the world's largest veterans service organization, and Post No. 28 the third-largest Legion post in America.

Post No. 28 is located at 31768 Legion Road in Millsboro.
