AMC Museum to explore history of space suits

The Air Mobility Command Museum, at 1301 Heritage Road, in Dover, will give an encore presentation of the latest installment in its educational "Hangar Flying" series at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4.

Bill Ayrey, of ILC Dover, will speak on space suit design and construction. ILC space suits have protected astronauts from the hazards of space for more than 1,600 hours, including 250 hours of problem-free lunar space walks during the Apollo missions. Attendees can try on a helmet and glove.

Admission is $5 and includes snacks, and is free to members and children younger than 16.
