Sussex Central's baseball team overcame a five-run fifth inning by Caesar Rodney to come away from Camden with a 10-8 win on Thursday.

The Knights scored a steady one run per inning to keep the game knotted up going into the fifth, when Central hit for three runs and the Riders exploded for five. The Knights came right back with a four-run sixth inning to pull ahead off the strength of a Jesse Long home run.

The Knights scored an additional four runs in the seventh inning, but the game was called for darkness.
